Interdisciplinary project

Project: Sana-mente App

Description: This project was an interdisciplinary collaboration in which I worked as an ux designer alongside a team of developers, a graphic designer, and a health and wellness expert. Our goal was to create a mobile application that would help people improve their physical and emotional well-being through meditation and tracking healthy habits.

My role: As an ux designer, my main responsibility was to design the user interface and user experience of the application. I worked closely with the graphic designer to ensure the visual appearance aligned with the brand and conveyed a sense of calm and well-being. Additionally, I collaborated with the health expert to ensure the application provided accurate and useful information about health and well-being.

Challenges and Solutions: Throughout the project, we faced challenges that required effective communication and collaborative problem-solving. For instance, there were debates about the best way to present information about meditation and health tips in the application. We worked together to find a balance between simplicity and depth of information, resulting in a clear and user-friendly interface design.

Results: The project has generated highly positive results in various qualitative aspects. Users have praised the efficient distribution of information in the interface, allowing easy identification of elements. Additionally, the application's onboarding process, both for account creation and login, was reported as easy and accessible. A notable achievement is that all users were able to complete the assigned task, involving making a payment, indicating the effectiveness and efficiency of the interface in critical task execution. These qualitative results highlight the success of the design in meeting user expectations in terms of usability, accessibility, and effectiveness in performing key tasks.
